About ‘Illustration Rotterdam in Bird's Eye View’ by Stephan Timmers

This print of Manhattan on the Maas features more than 150 architectural marvels. Of course, every Rotterdammer immediately recognizes the Erasmus Bridge, Willemsbrug and the Hef from this extreme perspective. But after looking a little longer, you might see the Cube Houses, the Market Hall, the Zalmhaven Tower, the Euromast, Hotel New York and the Kuip?

The five-point perspective emphasizes the vertical lines of the port city. Moreover, the busy ports of the Maasvlakte can be recognized on the horizon. Of course, Central Station, City Hall, Coolsingel, the Maastunnel, Kop van Zuid, SS Rotterdam, Ahoy, the new Luxor, the library and the Boijmans van Beuningen museum should not be missing. And did you already see The Destroyed City, Erasmus and Gnome Buttplug?

This drawing is very suitable for waiting rooms, receptions, meeting rooms and counters of hotels, hospitals and conference centers. It arouses curiosity, creates a first chat and manages to captivate people for longer than 1 minute. Ideal for a place where foreign guests congregate!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
