In the afternoon, this iguana sat in the bushes enjoying the last rays of the sun. Green iguanas are native to various parts of Central and South America, as well as some Caribbean islands. This photo was taken on Bonaire, for example, but these reptiles are now found in more than 25 countries outside their original habitat, mainly on other Caribbean islands, but also in Asia. The spread is a process mainly caused by human activity, both conscious and unconscious.
