About ‘Icelander’ by Anke de Groot
This Icelandic horse stood in a snow-covered meadow in Iceland in the middle of winter. Tiny droplets of melted snow cling to his coat and his mane is wet. I find the detail of his eye and eyelashes particularly beautiful when captured in this way. Strength and gentleness in one.
