About the artwork

This image shows a breathtaking landscape that tantalises the senses with its serene and rugged beauty. It is an Icelandic mountain in autumn, stripped of traditional symbols of the season - no snow glistening, no trees dropping their leaves. It is a silent witness to minimalist splendour and simplicity.

The bare rocky slopes of the mountain are reflected in a deep, mysterious lake at its foot. The sky is filled with a sense of emptiness and space, capturing only the suggestion of movement and change in the clouds above the mountain. This composition testifies to the inexorable power of nature, where the elements have carved and shaped the mountains, and where time seems to be both the creator and lord of this wild place.

This sculpture invites meditation on the essence of nature and the sheer power of the elements. It is a tribute to Iceland's rugged, untouched wilderness and the beauty to be found in nature's most minimal and unexpected manifestations. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
