Soft colours in the morning sky, soft colours on the ice of the Wadden Sea. It makes me happy. On the east side of Texel, the sun almost rises above the frozen Wadden Sea. A strong easterly wind blows the freezing cold in my face and with difficulty I can keep my hands warm. But it looks so beautiful. Fairy-tale hurry. The ice looks soft blue in the blue hour. Special to see ice in this tidal area, which is ruled by the tides.
