About ‘IJsselmeer coast’ by Sabrina de Vries

Many Dutch people jokingly refer to Friesland as the ‘ "buitenland" ’. Friesland is perhaps a world of its own. A world that isn’t for everyone. Here, you have to be able to take a knock. Here, nature still calls the shots. Here, the wind drives you forward and the rain lashes your face as if it wants to test whether you really belong here. You get plenty of nature that makes no effort to be kind, and that’s part of our character too. I’m proud of my Frisian blood. Proud of the land that never stands still. I’ll always be a Frisian girl. Made of wind, water and willpower. Unbreakable, untamable. This land is in my blood! So, today with my head in the wind and my feet in the clay!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
