This is a portrait that looks directly at you with big eyes. If you then look closer, you see that it is not looking at you but slightly away from you. Almost a little startled. This makes you think. What has she seen? What does she want to tell you with her eyes. My vision in this is as follows: let your imagination run wild and see where your story comes out. My inspiration always comes from a blank base. Start by setting up a background by taking colour by feel and putting it on top. Then I start putting down the base of the face. Love that this is modern and that it is out of proportion. So this time by emphasising the eyes and making them bigger than what should be. You can also clearly see that I have worked in layers as the base comes through the face. All this is painted in acrylic paint. The atmosphere I wanted to create is mysterious.
