Hyacinths in the Blue Hour
When day slowly turns to night and the sky shrouds itself in hues of indigo and cobalt blue, the blue hour dawns. In this brief, magical moment, colours seem softer, sounds quieter, and smells more intense. Among the trees, on the border of light and shadow, hyacinths bloom like a carpet of colour and fragrance.
Their flowers - in lilac, blue, white and pink - almost seem to glow in the twilight. Each cluster of flowers catches the last vestige of daylight and reflects it with a silent splendour. Anyone walking past a field full of hyacinths in the blue hour experiences an enchantment that cannot be put into words. It is as if the flowers and the twilight conspire to touch the soul - gently, but indelibly.
