About ‘Hvítserkur (Iceland)’ by Thomas Heins
Hvítserkur is a basalt rock on the east coast of the Vatnsnes peninsula in north-west Iceland. The approximately 15 metre high rock, which is hollowed out in two places, is located on Húnafjörður and is a nesting site for various bird species, such as kittiwakes and fulmars.

I'm Thomas and I've been into photography since 2021. I got into this hobby when we travelled to Scandinavia. In the beginning I only took photos with a mobile phone. But I soon realised that the possibilities with a mobile phone are limited. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first camera and from then on I got even more involved with photography.
My aim is to show the world as I see it.
