About ‘Hugs for the waal bridge’ by Joep Hetem

The island veur Lent is home to Galloway cattle. They too have a need for intimacy and like to cuddle with the Waal bridge as a spectator.

The plan was to try out my new lens on the waalkade, but when I saw the cattle walking on the other side, the plan changed. At first, they were grazing quietly and a lot were chilling in the grass. As I was about to head back home, I saw the bridge emerge nicely behind a bunch of these cattle. After a minute or two of determining the right composition, one Galloway began to mount the other.

Black, white was chosen here. I found the colours in the photo too distracting and this immediately sets a nice mood.

In my eyes, a perfect work to hang above your bed. Especially for lovers of cows, Nijmegen or love <3

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
