About the artwork

The painting entitled 'Hot Meal for the Fish' presents a surreal art world, the original was painted on canvas.

The unusual and idiosyncratic composition creates the impression of a bizarre, surreal world in which the depicted objects appear to the viewer partly as subjects and partly as objects in relation to other pictorial elements.

The scene depicted does not evoke a familiar reality, but conveys a pictorial reality that seems to obey unconventional physical laws. Is that really a horse running across the water with a twisted carriage, which just before was correctly attached to the horse?

Can you really make out a fish with flames and fire rising from its mouth with an intense roar? How can the fish be under water while there is fire in its mouth?

These are questions and irrational unreality typically associated with surrealism in art. In an age when computers assemble image fragments into collages at breakneck speed, a genuine surreal oil painting based on artistic development and craftsmanship is already something of a treasure.

A viewer sits quietly and calmly on the leafy island in the foreground in the tall grass, and allows himself to be drawn into this surreal work of art.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
