About ‘Horizon of infinity’ by Boris

There is something about the coast that compels us to surrender. As the sun slowly sank towards the horizon, the sea became a mirror of silver and graphite. What captivated me at that moment was the graphic simplicity: the clean line of the pier that inevitably draws the viewer into the image, straight towards the heart of the setting sun.

In this photograph, I wanted to capture the vast scale of nature. The small details in the rippling waves in the foreground contrast with the boundless emptiness of the sky. By omitting colour, the essence remains: the play of light on the water and the calm of a world preparing for night. For me, this image is the ultimate definition of ‘ 'ademruimte' ’.

This artwork is ideally suited to spaces where tranquillity is key. The horizontal lines have a calming effect and make a room appear wider and more open. It is a minimalist statement that fits perfectly in a bedroom or a modern living room. Whether you love the sea or simply want a beacon of tranquillity on your wall, this photograph brings the horizon indoors.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
