This work, POD of acrylic on canvas with gold leaf effect (imitation gold leaf, 2024), is about the power of light and hope returning. The canvas shows a layered play of colours: soft shades of pink and lilac merge with cool greys and whites, as if clouds were slowly opening up. Between those layers, planes of gold leaf sparkle, giving the painting a warm, vibrant sheen. Those gold accents are not visible everywhere, but just where you least expect it as if hope is hiding in the cracks and only emerges at the right moment.

If you look closer, you will discover the details: relief where the paint is thicker, fine structures almost reminiscent of fracture lines, and quiet areas where, on the contrary, the paint is thin and transparent. The contrast between softness and roughness makes it layered and lively.

The inspiration for this work comes from a turning point in my own life. The moment when darkness and doubt were still palpable, but at the same time a new opening arose. The gold leaf effect symbolises that small, precious spark that still becomes visible through all the cracks.

The atmosphere is warm, subdued and powerful. The painting radiates peace and calm, but at the same time makes you feel that there is movement, that change is possible.

In an interior, this canvas acts as a visual anchor. It brings warmth to modern, austere spaces, lifts classic rooms with its light glow, and invites stillness everywhere. It reminds daily of that one word: hope.
