About ‘Hoofdtoren Hoorn’ by RONALD JANSEN
The head Tower is one of the last defensive works in the Noord-Hollandse Hoorn that have been preserved. The tower is named after the Wooden Head, which was already built in 1464, and also derives its name from this jetty for trading ships. Nowadays (2015) a restaurant is located in the tower.
