About ‘Hong Kong at night’ by Maarten Mensink

Night in the metropolis of Hong Kong, one of the most densely populated areas on earth. More than 7 million people live in this small rocky city-state.

Here you can see the skyline from the West (near Victoria Peak) with a large amount of artificial light. On the right of the picture, the Bank of China Tower stands out with its triangular lights. Behind it, you can see the colourful lights of Wan Chai. On the left in the middle, the Hong Kong Convention and Exposition Centre is visible.

Walking around Hong Kong is a unique experience, there is a lot of height difference and extremely tall towers have been built everywhere to make maximum use of the scarce space. Here, you see the city as a whole and that feeling does not come across as well. At the same time, you can still clearly see how enormously built-up this area is.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
