The Tyrrell 011 was a Formula 1 car designed by Maurice Philippe for the Tyrrell Race Team.
The car made its debut in the hands of Eddie Cheever at the 1981 German Grand Prix. Cheever qualified 18th but managed to finish handsomely in 5th. The car was powered by a Cosworth V8 engine.
The 011 raced in three seasons of Formula 1 (1981 - 1983), with 1982 being its only full season.
Drivers driving for Tyrrell during that time included Eddie Cheever, Michele Alboreto, Brian Henton, Slim Borgudd and Danny Sullivan. With the 011, Tyrrell managed to win 2 races, both with Alboreto behind the wheel.
