The original work is cuddly and pasty painted.
The Himba woman lives in an area of Namibia and actually never washes.
They smear themselves with mixture of fat, spices and ochre. The colour ochre gives the women the typical red colour. This protects them from the sun. Jewellery is important to the Himba's. Both men and women wear little clothing; traditional clothing is made from the skins of slaughtered animals.
This woman is lost in thought and radiates tranquillity.
For example, many people have images of Buddha's in their homes. That is nice but with the image of this woman, you really get a unique representation in your home. "Do", says Henk Snoek Fast. On all types of materials from Werk aan de Muur, this painting creates a serene atmosphere.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
