Alnes is a small fishing village in Norway, located on the island of Godøya in the municipality of Giske (Møre og Romsdal). In 2006, 205 people lived there,[1] while the population already fell below 200 the following year. As a result, it is no longer considered an inhabited settlement and its data is no longer recorded separately.[2]
The main feature of the village is the 1876 Alnes Lighthouse. The lighthouse is in use and can be visited by tourists. There is also an art gallery and a small historical museum.
