In the Egmond dunes, Highland cattle roam so that natural grazing takes place and the dunes are kept in good condition. This beautiful specimen was grazing among the hills in the winter sunshine. As the sun is behind the animal, the contours of the Highlander are beautifully exposed. The use of a telephoto lens creates compression, nicely showing the layering effect in the dune hills.
