About the artwork

Elizabeth Gilbert, the American author of Eat Pray Love, believes in what she calls Big Magic: the art of creative living.

Not because you necessarily need a creative hobby, but because there is something special hidden in each of us.

This quote - "The universe buries strange jewels deep within us all, and then stands back to see if we can find them" - is from her book.

She describes how the universe hides some kind of strange gems in every human being: ideas, inspirations, talents. And then stands back to see if we dare to dig them up.

It takes curiosity. Guts. And a life where fear is not (no longer) in charge.

Jewels inside you is a subtle, typographic work that invites both self-examination and playfulness. For anyone who believes in coincidence-with-a-wink. Or who has yet to find their own glitter.

The book Big Magic is highly recommended.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
