About ‘Herkingen harbour’ by Sander Poppe

Herkingen harbour on Lake Grevelingen is a unique place in the Netherlands where you can experience the silence and tranquillity of nature. Especially during the early morning hours, when most people are still sleeping, this harbour transforms into an oasis of calm. On days with little wind, the surface of the water looks like a mirror and the sailboats, jetty and morning light are beautifully reflected. A perfect time to enjoy the awakening of nature.

From the characteristic jetty, where boats can refuel, you have a magnificent view over Lake Grevelingen. The combination of the soft light, the almost motionless sky and the clear water create a magical atmosphere that inspires any visitor or photographer. The sound of the gentle lapping of the water and birdsong enhance the sense of serenity.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
