One of the most polluting coal power plants in the Netherlands. The Centrale Hemweg is a power plant in Amsterdam. The current complex consists of two units, a new gas-fired plant and a coal-fired plant, which together can provide a net electrical capacity of approximately 1065 MWe. Due to the pollution this central appearance will close in 2025.
