Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Hemp Polder Mill’ by Wolbert Erich

The Hempensermeer was one of the last polders to be reclaimed in Friesland. Due to the poor soil, the polder was not drained until 1784. This mill, which used to have a self-balancing system, drained this Hempenser polder from 1863 to 1955.
