This lighthouse, 203 years old, is Hellevoetsluis's beacon of light, defining the image of Hellevoetsluis harbour and fortress. At the top of the light house, there is an all-round view of the Haringvliet and Hellevoetsluis fortress and harbour.
Hellevoetsluis' 18-metre-high lighthouse is one of the oldest working lighthouses in the Netherlands.
