About ‘Helderse Dunes with purple heather’ by eric van der eijk
In late summer, the Helders dunes transform into a sea of purple heather, an enchanting spectacle of colour and scent. Between the rolling sand dunes, the moors stretch out, like a soft carpet that colours nature with its hues. The landscape is home to rabbits, birds and butterflies, frolicking among the bushes and flowers.

Welcome to my photo gallery. Living close to the Dutch coast myself, as a professional photographer I am also inspired by landscapes of the dunes the beach and the sea. Many images here were taken by a medium format camera and offer unprecedented image quality. I also have a special website about the dunes and the beach (duinlandschap.nl). Most of the photos shown are therefore truly unique of the Dutch coast, and in high quality. But also in XXL format.
