I first painted this head of a deer with watercolor on watercolor paper. Scanning the watercolor into digital editing with several layers created a work with lots of texture.
The background of this artwork is cement gray. The lines of the deer's head are extra accentuated with a chalk brush in photoshop.
The work has a square format and fits very well in a rural interior.
From a blank sheet to an imaginative sketch or drawing — that’s what I enjoy most about creating my artwork.
I also find it inspiring to think that my wall decorations can bring joy to others.
