About the artwork

On the banks of the Haringvliet, where the water gently laps and the horizon is lit up by the first rays of the sun, a lively scene of fishing boats and eager competitors gathers. The morning starts early for the fishing competition, with boats being launched one by one from the ramp. The sky is a palette of warm shades of orange and pink, reflected in the smooth surface of the water, creating a serene atmosphere that contrasts with the excitement of the fishermen.

The boats, equipped with rods, nets and electronic equipment, are ready to take to the water. Fishermen, clad in warm jackets and full of anticipation, prepare their equipment as they plan for the perfect catch. The ramp acts as a focal point of activity, where boats glide smoothly into the water, leaving a trail of waves.

The sunrise adds a magical dimension to the event. As the sun climbs higher, birds in the area wake up and the light reflects on the glistening water. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
