About ‘Hanging banana flower against blue sky’ by Troy Wegman

A wall art print of a banana plant with its hanging banana flower brings a tropical feel into any room. The view looks up through the leaves towards a deep blue sky, which makes the scene bold and immediately recognisable as tropical nature.

The broad banana leaves stretch out towards the light. Below them hangs the dark red flower, with young fruit close by. Banana plants grow in warm regions and are one of the most familiar plants of the tropics, from plantations to gardens.

The rich green of the leaves, the red of the flower and the clear blue of the sky make a colourful yet calm picture. The sculptural shapes of the leaves give it a botanical, elegant look that suits modern and natural interiors alike.

The vertical format works well in a living room, above a sofa or in a hallway. It also suits a bedroom or kitchen, where it adds a fresh, natural accent. A good choice for anyone who loves plants, flowers and tropical nature.
