Impressive Hiroshima Peace Memorial, also known as Genbaku Dome (atomic bomb dome); embedded in a well-tended memorial garden with blossoming vegetation. In the center stands a massive memorial stone with a Japanese inscription, surrounded by flowers and offerings commemorating the countless victims of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. Behind the memorial stone rises the preserved ruins of the former Chamber of Commerce and Industry, whose skeletal dome is known worldwide as a warning symbol of peace and remembrance. The play of spring-like trees lends the scenery both hope and quiet dignity. Classical black and white view.
