About ‘Groningen’ by Hessel de Jong Fotografie

Groningen: This beautiful reflection was seen in winter 2021. By corona is it was deserted in Groningen's inner city and I was able to photograph "the Three" in all its glory. Although of course the Drie Gezusters Groningen are at their best when the terrace is packed - nothing beats Groningen!

My name is Hessel and I am a 24 year old photographer from Terheijl, Drenthe. At the moment I live in the city of Groningen and I like to photograph there as well. During my media design education I received photography lessons. I liked this so much that I started to delve into the world of photography. Because of this I decided to buy my first camera in 2014. This is where my adventure started.
