Greek McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II.
The F-4E is an interceptor fighter, the only version with a board gun. This type was also flown in the Netherlands by the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron of the US Air Force from Soesterberg Air Base.
The McDonnell F-4 Phantom II is an American-made jet fighter produced by McDonnell Aircraft. The aircraft was one of the best jet fighters in the Cold War era and was called Mig Killer by its pilots. The F-4 Phantom earned that nickname because in the Vietnam War it shot down not only many old MiG-17s, but also the MiG-21s, which were new for the time.
