Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Great tit bird on a paulownia branch’ by Marja van den Hurk

Around 1925/1936, the Japanese Ohara Koson produced his "Coal Tit bird on a paulowniatak".

Ohara Koson was a Japanese painter and designer of woodcut prints of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, part of the shin-hanga movement.

In 2021, I used his cabbage tit to make it into this cheerful and colorful vintage collage.…
