Autumn in Breda, with a dense fog. On my way back from some foggy scenes on the outskirts of the city, I decide to drive through the city center of Breda. Who knows, maybe the fog will have something to do with it. Now and then the fog thins out a little and I see some sun. At the Spanjaardsgat I see the sun poking through the fog. As if a large spotlight is aimed at the tower. For a good composition I look for a place where the clearly defined tower of the old post office is just in front of the tower. This creates a nice triangle of sun, the last layers of fog and the towers.
What started out as travel photography in the 1990s grew into a hobby that got out of hand. Photography became a daily activity.
