The sun is slowly coming from behind the trees at Ezumakeeg in the Lauwersmeer. Every morning the same ritual takes place here. As soon as the sun has risen above the horizon, the geese that spend the night in the water near Esumakeech fly up in a thundering force to graze in the meadows. A beautiful sight.
If you see this sunrise, you wouldn't say so. The tranquillity radiates from this picture.
