Ron ter Burg (Groningen, 1969) is a free-lance photographer, born in 1969, living in Roden, in the Kop van Drenthe.
North of Roden lies the Lauwersmeer area and the Wadden Sea; south of Roden lies the beautiful wooded nature of Drenthe.
So for Ron the ideal environment to practice my passion, nature and landscape photography.
Ron spends a lot of time in areas such as the Drentsche Aa area, the Dwingelderveld, the Lauwersmeer area and the northern Wadden Sea coast.
These areas feel like "his backyard".
Ron started photographing in 1991 and mastered his photography technique in the analogue era. Soon he made the choice for nature and landscape photography and by now he is known as an experienced and dedicated landscape photographer. With this he has won several awards in national and international photo competitions.
During the workshops Ron shares his experiences, knowledge and enthusiasm for photography with you. In these workshops he will teach you to look at the landscape and nature differently and Ron wants to inspire and enthuse you to go out and about with your camera!
So Ron's specialization is landscape photography; harmony and tranquillity are important characteristics in my photographs, or Healing Art.
