About the artwork

On the heights of Pakse, in southern Laos, Wat Phousalao offers an impressive spiritual spectacle: dozens of golden Buddha statues, perfectly aligned, sit silently on the steps of a perched sanctuary. These sacred figures, seated in meditation or reclining in the posture of Nirvana, bear witness to the depth of Buddhism in Laotian culture.
The place is bathed in light, highlighting the brilliance of the gilding, while the backdrop of dry nature and sparse trees is a reminder of the heat of the climate. This place of worship, still little frequented by tourists, invites contemplation and respect. Each statue seems to wear a peaceful, almost human expression, as if it has been protecting the site for centuries.
Wat Phousalao is not only a place of prayer, but also an exceptional observation site for the city of Pakse and the Mekong. Climb the statue-lined staircases and you have a breathtaking view. Between heaven and earth, gold and stone, silence and spirituality, this temple embodies the peaceful beauty of Laos.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
