About ‘Golden grasses by Lake Tekapo’ by Troy Wegman

This wall art shows the turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo on New Zealand's South Island, with mountains rising beyond the shore under a clear blue sky. In the foreground, golden dry grasses and a rust-coloured plant add warm tones to the cool scene. Pebbles line the water's edge.

The lake is fed by glaciers from the Southern Alps. Fine rock flour carried down by the ice gives the water its vivid turquoise colour. Lake Tekapo is one of New Zealand's best known landscapes and draws visitors from around the world.

This nature print has a calm, open feel. It suits a living room with light walls, or a bedroom where you want to unwind. Hang it above the sofa or the bed to bring the clear light of the southern hemisphere into your home. The landscape format gives the room a sense of space.
