Kinkaku-ji, literally the temple of the golden pavillion, in the center, surrounded by the zen buddhist garden, with Japanese conifer trees in the front being part of a classical era Japanese garden, wtih a small pond between the garden and temple set against a blue white clouded background. The golden temple is one of Kyoto's historic monuments and an official world heritage site. The Kinkaku-ji is capturing three architectural styles: shinden, samurai and zen in it's three different floors, and in combination with the garden showcasing in my view the true meaning of serenity, order and style of this classical temple and garden in the ancient former capital of Japan.
Capturing nature and architecture as pure as I can, matching with the experience I have with it at the time, that is my goal for every picture. As a person and as a photographer I like to travel and I have been able to visit many beautiful places.. Read more…
