Golden Spirals of Connection – Geometric Abstract Art in Gold and Black

by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Golden Spirals of Connection’ is a striking and powerful abstract artwork in which golden spirals, curved lines and geometric shapes come together in a rhythmic pattern. The image is composed of repeating square sections, each containing a graceful, twisting form. This creates a strong sense of movement, repetition and connection.

The fine black lines follow the curve of each shape and fan out from various points towards the edges. This makes the spirals appear almost to be turning when you look at the image for a longer time. The combination of curved lines and straight horizontal and vertical lines creates an interesting tension between organic movement and geometric structure.

The use of colour is deliberately warm and powerful. Various shades of gold, ochre and warm yellow form the basis, whilst the black lines provide a clear graphic contrast. The subtle texture in the golden areas also gives the pattern greater depth and prevents the whole from feeling completely flat and digital.

The title refers to the idea behind the work: the individual spirals are interconnected, much like people within a network or family. This concept is visually reinforced by the repetition and the continuous pattern.

This geometric artwork fits beautifully into a modern, minimalist, Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior. The gold and black can provide a luxurious accent against wood, beige, cream and warm earth tones.

‘Golden Spirals of Connection’ is therefore not only decorative abstract art, but also a graphic pattern in which movement, structure and connectedness come together.
