Modern still life in the style of Grandeur Chique.
In the summer of 2019 I was inspired by flowers. My house turned into a sea of flowers. Beautiful, new material for me; also very challenging, because as a photographer you have to adapt to the life cycle of each flower. I wandered markets, looking for the most beautiful flowers and special vases, composed bouquets and painted the background canvases myself, being inspired by mystical skies.
In terms of lighting I made use of natural daylight, just as Rembrandt and other painters did as early as the 17th century.
