About the artwork

The Girl walking in the clouds above is a beautiful image of innocence and beauty that will bring back memories for most anyone. It is a classic work by Jan Keteleer a master of modern art, and just as importantly, it is also a work of conceptual art. This form of painting, which can be called a type of painting in the same way that conceptual art is described, takes its influence from the painting techniques used by impressionists. The surrealism and cubism were also key elements to the formation of this particular style of painting.

For the style of painting to come into focus, the sky must be seen through the eyes of the girl. If her gaze is upward towards the clouds it is a stitched in feeling rather than an actual representation of something outside. It is an image created by allowing the perspective of the painting itself to be that of the rising sun over a sea of clouds. It is a very powerful image because the girl in the painting is barely seen, yet she carries such meaning within her gentle gaze. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
