About "Giant autumn tree in the Botanical Garden in Berlin"

by Silva Wischeropp

About the artwork

The nature motif was taken on 12 October 2025 in the late afternoon hours with the NIKON D800 (lens: NIKKOR (24.0-70.0 mm f/2.8).

This magical, dreamy nature shot was taken during my extensive photo walk in the Blankenfelde-Pankow Botanical Park. The orange-coloured leaves of the huge, ancient deciduous tree (primeval tree/primal forest giant) shine with magical luminosity.

The warm red tone in combination with the yellow and orange leaves of the neighbouring trees create a wonderful colour ambience. This is emphasised by the green still present on the forest floor and the different shades of green of the remaining leaves, which create a particularly striking contrast.
Mother Nature simply offers us an enchanting, colourful play of colours here.

The result is an all-round harmonious, autumnal nature motif with warm, strong and bright colours. The old primeval giant symbolises strength and steadfastness.
