About "Garden of Eden painting"

About the artwork

“Forbidden fruits” is an expression that refers to something that is forbidden or unattainable, but that makes it extra attractive. The origin of this expression lies in the Bible, specifically in the story of Adam and Eve, in which they were forbidden by God to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The forbidden fruit therefore becomes a symbol of temptation and sin.

Each stroke, color choice and technique reflects the artist's individual expression, setting the painting apart.
All original works are conventionally hand-painted: nothing is digital or printed.

The paintings are constructed in many layers of acrylic paint. This layering in combination with the use of flat brushes creates beautiful and characteristic touches, allowing the painting to be viewed and interpreted in different ways. It contributes to the visual richness and complexity of the work.

No black is used in the paintings. Without black everything is less harsh and looks calmer. The acrylic paint dries matt and is therefore easier on the eye, allowing all details to be fully appreciated.
The colors are specially mixed for each painting and although this is often time-consuming, it is all about the end result.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
