In love with Gannets, the average nature photographer certainly is.
They are beautiful birds with a very telling face. The Bempton Cliffs in England is a well-known location for photographing the Gannets, as it is home to a large breeding colony that you can view beautifully.
Because of the great height of the cliffs, it is not difficult to get a nice blurred background. In the morning, the weather was still a bit rainy and cloudy. As a result, the light was actually perfect for photographing white birds. The colours and details stood out well in the soft light.
The birds were busy seducing their mates. Some were already flying by with seaweed for the nest, but this pair was mostly cuddling (or beaking) intimately.
