Galapagos land iguana for peace and species conservation > The Galapagos land iguana in knight's armour with peace sign symbolises peace and species conservation. > In general, land iguanas are endangered due to the destruction of their habitat and by introduced herbivores, also because of human hunting of carnivores. Although this does not yet apply to all places where land iguanas live, these are also threatened with extinction in the future. > The Galapagos land iguanas or Drusenköpfe (Conolophus subcristatus) are actually herbivores, although they also eat invertebrates. They grow to a length of 120 cm. On Santiago, one of the Galapagos Islands, where Charles Darwin encountered them en masse, they were wiped out. > Unfortunately, the pink iguana is already threatened with extinction, like many other animals in the region. > With my collection "Animals in armour with peace symbol" I would like to draw attention to the extinction and set an example.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
