Gravestone at the former overwater cemetery in Münster, North Rhine-Westphalia.
After the opening of the central cemetery in 1887, the Überwasserfriedhof was abandoned and is now part of the park around the castle. In connection with the destruction of the Central Cemetery and the closure of the Lauheide Forest Cemetery at the end of the Second World War, about 150 burials could still take place in the old cemetery in the post-war period. This is one of those graves.
