Two legends. In the foreground the red de Havilland DH.88 Comet that won the London-Melbourne race in 1934. The KLM DC2 Uiver came second in this competition.
In 1937 Alex Henshaw flew a record speed on a return flight from London to Cape Town with the rear plane, the Percival Mew Gull.
