The old foghorn house which was once indispensable on the island of Schokland in the Zuiderzee. Times have changed considerably and currently it is mainly a reminder of earlier times now that the sea has been reclaimed as Noordoostpolder and Schokland is now counted as Flevoland. The cottage is unchanged and is free to view. I went there in the evening just before the golden hour to photograph.
