An insane number of tulip bulbs are grown in the Northeast Polder every year. When all the bulbs bear flowers, it is a huge colour paradise.
Besides the flower bulbs and many other agricultural products, there are more and more large windmills in the Northeast Polder.
This photo was taken along the IJsselmeerdijk near the village of Rutten.
Choosing a vantage point in the middle of the tulip bulb beds creates several colourful perspecvtion lines. This, combined with the beautiful cloudy sky, creates a modern Dutch landscape image
