"The Balloërveld near Balloo is as far as I am concerned one of the most beautiful places in Drenthe where heather is blooming and thus what makes the area so special. A beautiful blooming heather in the morning sun with ground fog. A fairytale image. Every year when the heather shows itself again, I have to go here! It will never become annoying to have to set an alarm clock for this at 4:00 a.m.. You hope at such a time that everything you thought of beforehand will coincide. When you see that layer of fog hanging over the moors just before sunrise, you know it can't go wrong anymore. It gives a certain thrill to witness something like that. Me, the camera and the peace of nature..."

Together with my girlfriend Danielle, and daughter Sarah-Lynn we live on the edge of the beautiful nature reserve Bargerveen (Drenthe).

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
